What’s a song that changed your life?

Yes, a sappy song! But when it came out, I was in love with it. It was the first song that truly felt romantic to me, and stirred up desires for romance.

I would not say it or any song has changed my life. But it was a sign to me that I was growing up.

Coming in second is Dire Straits Sultans of Swing, because to me, it was emblematic of a new sound (to me at least), and of my musical tastes changing.

Who knows? Maybe I’ll write a song and change someone else’s life.
