If you had to sum up your life philosophy in one sentence, what would it be?
I could borrow the saying, “don’t sweat the small stuff.”
Or, “the only mistake in life is the lesson not learned.”
Or, “remember, today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday.”
That would be easy. I’m not looking for easy. I’m not looking for hard. I’m looking for what fits me.
Part of me wants to say, “nothing really matters.” Which I don’t mean in a negative way, but it is kind of negative, even though I believe that in the long run, on a cosmic scale, nothing does.
But for our day to day, personal lives, a lot of things matter, especially how we treat one another.
What I have come up with is no more profound than the examples at the beginning, but it encapsulates what is important to me, and that is to…
“be open to the world and the opportunities in it without forgetting your personal moral compass and being as kind as possible.”
Et voila.
